🧍🏽‍♂️ Discussion Thread: Intervention

Spoiler-Friendly Zone

Hey friends! Let’s talk about “Intervention.”

>> Read the story to catch up <<

This one wasn’t easy. And it wasn’t supposed to be.

In “Intervention,” Tonye steps into one of the hardest roles a person can take on: the truth-teller. Alongside Abe, Clement, and Daniel, who show up not just to confront, but to care. To help Bart face a wound so old, it’s almost fused with his identity.

What do you say to a man who’s lived his whole life with silence where a father should have been?

What do you risk when asking someone to meet the man who never came looking for them?

This story doesn’t offer simple answers. But it does ask the right questions.

⚠️ SPOILER AHEAD — HMF Club is already taking action. This one was hard. Another Teka moment and the community of brothers rallying around for support. It’s not easy when you have to deliver hard truths, but knowing you have a group of folks backing you up (not just in prayer) is encouraging. Hope this happens here in our community.

💭 Questions to Reflect On:

  • What did you feel as Bart faced the news about his father?

  • How did the dynamics between the brothers shape the impact of this moment?

  • Who did you resonate with most and why: Tonye? Bart? Clement? Daniel?

  • Have you ever had to forgive someone who never apologized? Or show up for someone with pain you couldn’t fix?

  • What does this story teach us about grace, truth, and the limits of what love can carry?

👇🏽 Let us know what this one stirred in you—just remember to keep major spoilers out of your first line!

Some wounds don’t heal in a day. But sometimes, the first step is just showing up.

Let’s talk.
