I’ve been contemplating on the topic of satisfaction and what that means as a follower of Jesus. It led to a short audio clip that I’d like to share. I hope the verses within my vocal musings bless you as they have blessed me.

Real talk. I love those verses in Proverbs. Give me enough, God, not too much or too little. Years ago, during a difficult season of learning how to trust in God’s timing, I came to understand the reason it’s hard for me to trust God is because I’m not satisfied with God’s way of doing things. Raising children has done the most in helping me adjust my entitled attitude toward God. To learn to trust in Him the way my daughters trust in me to do what I said I’d do, even though that doesn’t stop them from whining the whole time.
Ain’t that the truth. It’s humbling even your kids serve as mirrors or megaphones. You hear the condition of your heart louder through them. May the Lord help us! 😅
